Google Releases Toolbar version 2.0 stable
Looks like the Google Toolbar is no longer Beta.
I highly recommend downloading this.
Right now it's the easiest way to block up Pop ups in Internet Explorer. And to top it all off you get all of the extra search functions of Google.
Simply disable any reference to "Blog" in the preferences and the Google Toolbar 2.0 becomes near perfect.

If you want a fast, light browser that is standards compliant and blocks Pop-Ups look no further than Mozilla.org's excellent Firebird.
